Dorene M (Swanson) Grove

Dorene M. Grove, 79, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society Home in St. Croix Falls.  She was born on December 17, 1934 in Georgetown Township, Polk County, Wisconsin the daughter of Lester and Hilda Swanson.   Dorene belonged to the Eastern Star for over 50 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and her family.

She leaves to celebrate her memory: son, Relan (Luanne) Grove, Osceola, WI; son, Brian Grove, Cushing, WI; daughter, Cheryl (Keith) Lehman, Centuria, WI; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brother, Duane (Nancy) Swanson, Wyoming, MN; and other loving family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Hilda Swanson and her husband Stanley K. Grove.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

The family will greet visitors on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria with an Eastern Star Service at 7:00 P.M.  The family will also greet visitors on Friday at the church form 10:00 A.M – 11:00 A.M.

Dorene will be laid to rest at the Kahbakong Cemetery in Taylors Falls, MN following the service.  The family invites their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship at the church following the cemetery service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the choice of the donator.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
