Thomas J. Slayton

Thomas J. Slayton Sr., 63, of Centuria, WI; passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home with his family at his side.  Tom was born on January 24, 1959, in Barron, Wisconsin the son of James and Elinor (Gould) Slayton.

Tom attended school in Barron and Clear Lake, Wisconsin.  After graduating he enlisted in the National Guard.  He worked in factories in northern Wisconsin throughout his working career.  He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family and mostly his grandchildren.

He leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife, Kimberly Slayton, children: Thomas J. Slayton, Jr, Uriah Slayton, and Talia Slayton, stepchildren: Laura (Alberto) Juarez, Billie Rocarek, Jeffrey Bloom, and Mara Bloom (Eric Huttner), several grandchildren, siblings: Trinatie Coss, Tammy Slayton, Tallie Slayton, and Troy Slayton, sisters-in-law, Shirley (Linda) and Robin, also many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elinor Slayton, and his brother Timothy Slayton.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Tom at a later date.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
