Richard H. Johnson

Richard H. Johnson, 86, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the United Pioneer Home in Luck, Wisconsin.  Richard was born on October 7, 1935 in St. Croix Falls the son of Alivira and Walter Johnson.

Richard attended and graduated High School in St. Croix Falls; he then obtained a teaching degree and taught in a one room school house near Amery, Wisconsin.  As a young man he married Donna J. Patrin.  They owned and operated DJ’s Café in Amery together for a few years.  Richard had a career as a supervisor for Vincent Metals in Coon Rapids, Minnesota that spanned over 30 plus years.  He also owned and operated Johnson Skids and Pallets near Cushing, Wisconsin.

In his retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and trips to the casino and spending time with family and friends.

Richard leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife, Donna, his children, Debbie (Wesley) Adams, Ricky (Pam) Johnson, Curtis (Nancy) Johnson, Chris (Clarissa) Johnson, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Curtis and grandchildren, Walter, Tom, Teddy, Tony and April.

No public services will be held.
