Marjorie Ann (Hermstad) Everson, 85, of Luck, WI, joined her heavenly family on Friday, March 13, 2015, after being treated for osteomyelitis at several hospitals in St. Paul, and Minneapolis, MN.

Marjorie was born on Dec. 12, 1929, at their family home in Bone Lake, WI, to Josef and Anna (Jenssen) Hermstad.  Her mother died when Marjorie was nine-years of age.  Her family shared their home with live-in teachers, housekeepers, and hired farm workers.  Her father constructed barns in Polk County, WI.

Remembered for her handcrafted braided woolen rugs, purses, quilts, embroideries, homemade breads, leadership in youth programs, seamstress work, CNA work--Marjorie was an ambitious worker.  She enjoyed gardening, landscaping with rocks, gathering wood, and knew the names of birds and flowers.  She practiced hospitality.  She had a heart for people who suffered from the hardships of life.  She authored a children’s book, CARL – A True Story About Bullying .   Marjorie wished to be remembered for her willingness to forgive.  The story is about a Savior and how he taught us to forgive.
