Ivan Monroe Olson

Ivan M. Olson, age 86, passed away with his loving family by his side on June 18th, 2022, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Ivan was born to Francis and Oscar Olson on June 28th, 1935, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Ivan started working at the movie theater in St. Croix Falls at the age of 15 and stayed there for 30 years. He also drove the school bus for 19 years while he worked at the theater. Ivan also worked at Kroy for about 20 years. Ivan had a great passion for old cars, attending car shows and showing his own beloved cars. He also enjoyed ham radios. He had a love for the outdoors, whether it be deer hunting, fishing, camping, or attending all of the nearby local outdoor music concerts. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Oscar Olson, and brother, Dale (Joyce) Olson.

He leaves to celebrate his memory, his wife of 63.5 years, Shirley (Johnson) Olson, children, Bruce (Jolene) Olson, Lynnette Sheely, Brian (Sara) Olson, and Kevin (Trevor) Olson, grandchildren, Jordan Olson, Ariel and Anya Sheely, and Andrew and Luke Olson, as well as many other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25th at 2:30 PM. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, Wisconsin was entrusted with arrangements.
