Cora Lee Olesen-Galle

Cora Lee Olesen-Galle, 62, of Luck, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday October 19, 2020. Cora Lee was born on April 5, 1958 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin the daughter of Charles “Chuck” and Elizabeth “Liz” Olesen.

A loving mother, wife and grandmother, Cora hated cooking but loved spending holidays with family, even though she had to prepare a meal. She loved being outdoors whether it be mowing the lawn or tending to her garden. We all know she had a huge obsession with her yard and making sure it looked perfect! She enjoyed a good evening socialization and campfire with neighbors and friends. She loved taking her two grandsons every year to Wisconsin Point in Superior so they could collect driftwood. But most of all her biggest dream in life was to travel and see the world. She had big plans with the RV and side-by-side to go everywhere and see everything.

She leaves behind an amazing group of family and friends:  son, Brandon Scheuer (Deidre Rose), daughter, Tina (Chad) Moss; husband James Galle; her beloved dog Brandi; three grandchildren Grace, Chase and Cameron; brother Daniel (Deb) Olesen, sisters Sandy (Ron) Johnson and Brenda (Ron) Carlson; sisters-in-law Jeanne (John) Galle-Franklin and Judy (Tony) Voss; step children Daniel, Kyle, Mitchell and Courtney Galle; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Charles Olesen, nephew Rodney Johnson, niece Megan Carlson.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.  A Private Family Service will be held at 11:00 A.M.  Masks are required to enter the church and please practice social distancing as laid out by the CDC.
