Violet C. (Skinaway) Buck

Violet C. Buck, 91, of Stillwater, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater.  Violet was born on September 3, 1923 in White Earth, Minnesota the daughter of Margaret (Nickaboine) and Frank Skinaway.

She leaves to celebrate her memory: children: Deloris Mosay, Amery, WI; Joseph R. Buck, Amery, WI and Jennifer (Pete) Lowe, Turtle Lake, WI, grandchildren: Frank Buck, Becky Buck, Michael Buck, Nathan Buck, Jackie Lowe, Shannon Lowe, Steven Lowe, Ashley Lowe, Joey Buck, Gina Buck, Karrie Mosay and Kevie Mosay, 24 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Frank Skinaway, her husband, Joseph P. Buck, children, Nancy Ann and LaVerne J. Buck, grandchildren, Holly, Sheila and Kendell Mosay and several brothers and sisters.

The funeral service for Violet will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria.  The family will greet visitors on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. and then again one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.

Violet will be laid to rest alongside her husband Joseph at the Balsam Lake Cemetery following the service.  Casket bearers will be Steven Lowe, Mike Buck, Jorden Buck, Nathan Buck, Tereso Alverado and Travis Buck.  Honorary Casket bearers will be Frank Buck, Ridge Mosay, Nicholas Mosay, Joey Buck and Alex Mosay.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
