St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin

Tina Louise Johnson, 39, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, near Glidden, Wisconsin. Tina was born on August 11, 1986, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Tina graduated from St. Croix Falls High School in 2005 and attended the University of Minnesota Crookston to follow her dream of working with horses and animals. She refocused on her plans to stay at home with her daughter and watch her grow up sharing her time with family and friends. She frequently made visits to the St. Croix River, and the waterfalls in Osceola, spending time looking for rocks and gemstones. When Tina wasn't doing that, she could be found going on walks with her animals or in her kitchen cooking, baking and trying new recipes and foods. Troy would be alongside her grilling, cooking, taking care of the animals spending time watching movies, going up north or fishing. She would often go on late night drives listening to music to unwind and relax, stopping at some of her favorite places along the way. Tina had a large part in taking care of Madison Smith, her niece, and took her in as her own. She was very caring and took pleasure in taking care of and helping many people and animals. Tina loved working on making crafts and jewelry and especially loved giving them as special gifts to loved ones.

Tina is survived by her daughter, Hailey Pomeroy; significant other, Troy Madsen, parents, Vicki (Jeff) Nelson, Chris (Clarissa) Johnson; brother, Justin (Kristin) Johnson; stepbrother, Don (Darcy) Nelson; stepsister, Linda (Sean) Kindelt; nieces, Madison Smith, Hailey Nelson; nephews, James and William Kindelt; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas, Anthony, and Theodore Johnson.

You will be missed by many, rest in peace Tina.
