Obituary

Ted Logan Goll was born on July 19, 1952, in Greenfield, Indiana, to Mary and Ken Goll. He was the youngest of six boys. Ted grew up on a resort in Lac du Flambeau, WI, and enjoyed taking trips back to his grandparents’ home in Indiana.

As an adult, Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing, birdwatching, and serving as navigator on many impromptu trips with his wife. Later in life, Ted became a “chicken tender” on their land, which he liked to refer to as “almosta farm.” By the time Ted’s father had his sixth son, he was done teaching and told Ted to hang with his mother, which is why Ted could be depended on for fixing things with a hot glue gun and/or duct tape. Ted could also prepare a mighty fine bowl of chili.

Ted is survived by his son, Daniel Goll; his wife, Cathryn Goll; four brothers: Ronald (Sally) Goll, Steve Goll, Jeff Goll, and Rick (Mary) Goll; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Mary Goll; his daughter, Melissa Goll; and his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Sue Goll.

At the family’s request, no services will be held. Memorials or donations can be made in Ted’s name to Ducks Unlimited or Whitetails Unlimited.

Kolstad Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
