Samantha J. Skinaway

Samantha J. Skinaway, “Shing gway way gaa baa wee kwe”, 37, of Luck, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Samantha was born on March 29, 1988, in Amery, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mavis Rogers and Benny Skinaway.

Samantha is survived by her children, Jorian Freiseis, Vincent Luse and Sierra Irvin, her mother, Mavis Rogers, siblings, Monica Skinaway, Bradley Rogers, Bennie Skinaway, Rita Taylor and Greg Garbow, her niece, Ayana Rainey, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends. She was preceded by her father, Benny Skinaway, sisters, Rose Taylor, Katie Jo Taylor and Theresa Taylor, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.

Wake services for Samantha will begin at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Round Lake Community Center, Luck, Wisconsin and continue until the time of service on Saturday at 10 AM. She will be laid to rest at the Round Lake Cemetery following the service. Casket Bearers will be Shane, Merrill, Chris, Isaiah, Pat Jr. and Carlos. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Aaron, Bennie, Bradley and Joe.
