Kathleen “Kay” Mabry, 87, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Amery Regional Medical Center in Amery with her loving family at her side. Kay was born on March 12, 1928 in Amery, Wisconsin the daughter of Elmer and Irene (Anderson) Carlson.
Kay leaves to celebrate her memory: husband, Elmer Mabry, Balsam Lake; Children: Brad (Barb) Mabry, St. Croix Falls; Cathy (Richard) Lipka, Double Oak, TX; Mark (Donna) Mabry, Balsam Lake, Janet Mabry, Amery; grandchildren: Shannon Lipka Kriegel, Kyle Lipka, Becky (Esden) Brunette, Brian Mabry, Erin Mabry, Mitch Culver, Abby (Jake) Loen and Kim Culver, great grandchildren: Aiden Kriegel, Owen and Colten Brunette, siblings: Jim (Shirley) Carlson, Dennis (Sharon) Carlson and Bonnie (Jerry) Peterson, sisters-in-law, Leta Carlson, Avis Mabry, Dixie Carston and Diana (Charlie) Tendrup, brother-in-law, Donald (Loretta) Mabry and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Irene Carlson, sister; Charlotte Nyquist and her husband Bob, brother, Gene Carlson, great grandson, Quinten Brunette, father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Thelma Mabry and other in-laws: Ted Mabry, Berl and Fern Mabry and LeRoy Carston.
The funeral service for Kay will be held at the Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, Centuria on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Freddie Kirk will officiate.
Kay’s family will greet visitors at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 4 – 7 P.M. and then again at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
She will be laid to rest at the Balsam Lake Cemetery following the funeral. Casket bearers will be grandchildren: Shannon Lipka Kriegel, Kyle Lipka, Becky Brunette, Brian Mabry, Erin Mabry, Mitch Culver, Abby Loen and Kim Culver.
The family invites their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship at the church following the cemetery service.
