David John DuBois 08-04-1951 - 09-4-2026

 Born on August 4th, 1951, in St. Paul, MN, and passed away on September 4th, 2026, exactly one month after his 75th birthday. He is preceded in death by his parents, Everald John “Bud” and Marjorie (Meinz) DuBois; brother James; sister-in-law Donna DuBois; sister Judy (DuBois) Keblar. Nephews Daniel Roland and Brian DuBois and brother-in-law Bill Wood. Dave is survived by his loving family: Thomas (Rhonda) DuBois, Mark DuBois, Donald (Linda) DuBois, Mary (Bill) Wood, Kathy (Steve) Roland, and Jeanne DuBois.

 In adulthood, Dave worked at Happy’s Potato Chips, transferred to Colorado as a distributor, then returned to Minnesota and became owner/distributor for Little Debbie. Dave retired in 2016 and moved to Centuria, WI, where he spent the remainder of his days. Not having children, one of his greatest joys was his many nieces and nephews and their children. Dave loved spending time with them and was known as the generous uncle who handed out cash to them every year on Christmas. He had a dry sense of humor and was always coming up with unique practical jokes. Dave was an avid Minnesota sports fan. He loved Laurel and Hardy, had a love-hate relationship with golf, and in his later years he often visited his brother Don and sister-in-law Linda’s lake home. He enjoyed the respite he found there and the opportunity to spend time with nieces and nephews and their children. 

Rest easy, and thanks for the memories, Dave. You’ll never be forgotten. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
