Daniel Bording, 59, of Milltown, Wis., passed away on December 29, 2014, at Willow Ridge Healthcare in Amery. Dan was born in Amery, Wisconsin to Iola and Kenneth Bording, and grew up in the local area. After attending Osceola High School, he worked at local businesses, including F&A Dairy and Tenere in Dresser.
Growing up, Dan enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He enjoyed working with wood and in recent years he crafted beautiful walking sticks for family and friends. He loved flowers and always had a flower garden, sometimes very small, wherever he lived. He also had a passion for classic cars, and frequently attended car shows in the area. He was an avid Packers and Badgers fan, and his favorite cap was the Super Bowl XLV Packers championship one. Dan’s love for music inspired him to learn to play both the guitar and harmonica.
Dan leaves to celebrate his memory: mother, Iola Bording, Milltown, WI; siblings: Sharon (Wayne) Rud, East Farmington, WI; Diane Rudesill (Rod Egge), Luck, WI; Kathleen (Glenn) Greener, Cumberland, WI; Julie Gryphan, Luck, WI; Cindy (LeRoy) Gerving, Osceola, WI and Randy (Karen) Bording, Balsam Lake, WI; sister-in-law, Ginger Bording, Grantsburg, WI; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
