Charlotte Jean Rovney (Lumsden) age 91 of Luck WI passed away at her home on June 10th, 2026, surrounded by her family. Charlotte was born on January 24th, 1935, at home in Eureka Township where she grew up and graduated from Manitou Lake School. She married William G. Rovney on August 20th, 1955, celebrating 64 years of marriage until Bill's death in 2019. After marriage Charlotte traveled with Bill during his military service from Arkansas, Maryland, D.C. and Germany. Upon Bill's discharge from the United States Army, Charlotte and Bill moved to Mankato, MN; from there they moved and settled in Waseca, MN. While living and raising family in Waseca, Charlotte worked for Bird’s Eye and E.F. Johnsons as electric plating Department Supervisor until she retired in 1984. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca, MN, involved in Waseca County Snowmobile Club designing logo and display patches. Upon retirement Charlotte and Bill moved to Luck, WI to be closer to family where they lived until they passed away. Charlotte was involved with the Luck Lutheran church and Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing. Her real joy was watching her grandson, William A. Rovney on his life journey.

Charlotte is survived by her son, William R. Rovney and wife Kimberly (Erickson), Luck, WI, grandson, William A. Rovney (Jenna), Luck, WI and her Faithful four-legged friend Bailey, brother, Robert Lumsden Cushing, brother-in-law, William Jensen, Eau Claire, brother and sister- in- law Jim and Connie Rovney, Mankato, MN, brother-in-law, Gordon Longnecker, Texas, sister-in-law, Jean Rovney, Milltown and many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Marcella Lumsden, husband, William G. Rovney, sister, Marcia (Lumsden)Longnecker, sister; Lois (Lumsden) Jensen, sister-in-law, Lavonne Lumsden, sister-in-law, Janet Rovney, brother-in-law, Don Rovney and her niece, Tamara Rovney.

The Celebration of Life for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 am at Luck Lutheran church. The visitation will begin at 10 am. Please join the family following the service for a meal and fellowship in the church fellowship hall.
