Charles (Chuck) Neely went home to be with his Lord on July 28, 2026, at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud, MN.  He was born on June 8, 1946, in Aiken, South Carolina, to Clarence and Dorothy (Bruce) Neely.  They moved to Wisconsin when he was around three years old.

Chuck graduated from Luck High School in 1964.  He then served his country in the United States Army for 2 years, serving 13 months in Vietnam.  Chuck was chosen for a special transportation unit delivering supplies and ammunition to the Green Berets deep in the jungle.  They were frequently attacked by the Viet Cong. When he returned to Wisconsin from Vietnam, he worked in a factory.

In 1966, he met Linda Davison; they were married on August 16, 1968. To this union, 2 sons were born (Chad and Charles).  Chuck worked for his father-in-law, Davy Davison, building homes and garages and remodeling.  He started his own construction business a few years later.

Chuck is survived by his wife Linda, Luck, WI; sons, Chad (Sarah), Luck, WI; and Charles, Luck, WI; granddaughter, Alexis, Luck, WI; siblings, Jan Christensen, Mary Lake, Wayne (Helen) Neely, Jerry (Penny) Neely, and Conrad (Chris) Neely.  He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The funeral service for Chuck will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Milltown First Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the service.  Chuck will be laid to rest at the Bone Lake Cemetery with full military honors.  The family invites guests back to the church for lunch and fellowship.
