To Miles kid: just found this today, wish I had known before. I have many fond memories of your Mother. My Dad was Ellsworth Hellgren and my parents and yours spent a lot of time together in the 40's and 50's, which included myself and my two sisters, Linda and Diane. Dad worked at Kemper too. Everyone gone now but me. I am sure your Mom is laughing in heaven now. She was special. Remember you kids when you were little.

We just now saw your condolence message and wanted to get back to you. Thank you so much for the kind words for Grete. It was so nice to hear from you.
This is Jim's wife, Linda. Jim was your mom's Godson. We were just talking about her and Ells the other day. Grete was his personal secretary at Kemper.
They were all very good friends. I got on Ancestry.com and looked up your parents today and saw a few pictures of your dad and one of your mom on her wedding day! I did not know what they looked like.
We are in Northern Wisconsin beside Jim's brother, Mike.
The two girls, Linda and Marilyn are in Barrington and Crystal Lake.
Are you in the Chicago area?

My thoughts and prayers for all of my cousins. I loved Aunt Grete very much. She is in heaven now with her brother, singing sweet music. Love and miss all of you and hope that I can see all of you very soon..
