The Rookey family remembers Katherine and her husband Byron very fondly. They were our next door neighbors in Superior and raised a wonderful family. We are sorry for your loss but know that your parents are surely in the loving arms of their Savior, Jesus. They made the world a much better place in which to live!

Mary, Jean and Tom...we are so sad to read of your mother's passing. We had such good times with your parents, Joan and Ed Rutledge and Joanne and Bob
Germond. Such fun, with our bridge group, parties and, of course, the fellows' golf team (they invited us wives to dinner once a year) :) All are gone except Joan, and the two of us, but we enjoy our memories. We think of you with caring...

Katherine was a saint on earth. She was the kindest, sweetest lady. I have fond memories of our get togethers. I send my best to the family.

Mary, Jean, Ann and Tom, our most deepest and sincerest condolences to you. Katherine was a jewel to me as a child. I enjoyed the overnight stays, meals and consideration she had for all of Tom's friends. My wife and I are very honored that we were able to contribute somehow to make this time more comforting.

Katherine worked for me in the Cashier's Office for many years. My husband and I stopped to see her on our way to TX in the early years that we traveled there. After he started on dialysis, it was difficult for us to stop and see friends on the way south. But that meant I lost touch with her. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful lady.
