Christopher Aberle Obituary

Christopher Michael Aberle, 44, of Barron, WI and formerly of Minot, ND passed peacefully on July 30, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health Services in Eau Claire, WI.

Christopher known as “Abe” to all his close friends and family, was born on February 19, 1975 in Minot, ND to the late Kathryn Aberle.  He grew up in Minot, moved away during middle school, but returned to Minot after his mother passed away and graduated from Minot High School.

Chris found work in the restaurant industry. He worked and was assistant manager at several restaurants over the years.  His favorite and longest employment was the Dugout Restaurant and Bar in Sports World Stadium.  Later he worked for Choice Hotels before most recently working at Paradiso.

As his health began to decline, Chris moved to Barron, WI where his Uncle Karl always entertained him.  He enjoyed his time away from all the medical appointments that consumed his days with trips to his Uncle’s home and enjoyed spending time there especially the holidays surrounded by family and friends.

In his spare time, he loved to golf and shoot hoops during a friendly game of HORSE. He also loved to watch his beloved Carolina Panthers play football.  A kid at heart, he loved to watch the Simpsons.  His greatest passion was always listening to music where he could talk all day about his favorite 80’s rock bands.

Chris is survived by: his many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by: his mother, Kathryn Paulson (Aberle) and grandparents, Joseph and Catherine Aberle, Uncle Leo Aberle, Aunt Dorothy Aberle and Cousin Kelly Aberle.

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot
