Bruce G. Biedler, 75, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin and formerly of St. Paul, Minnesota passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at his home in Balsam Lake with his loving family at his side. Bruce was born on August 10, 1942 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Eileen (Vail) and Melvin Biedler. As a young man Bruce served his country in the United States Army from February 28, 1962 – February 18, 1965. After his honorable discharge he remained in the Army Reserve until February of 1968. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Bruce leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife, Virginia, Balsam Lake, WI; children: Denise (Brian) VanVleet, Centuria, WI; Roy (Tricia) Biedler, Crystal, MN and Robin Gail “Little Lelani” Biedler, Hawaii, grandchildren: Dakota Frohn, Centuria, Sierra and Kylie VanVleet, Centuria, Reese, Landry and Hattie Biedler, Crystal, MN, brother, Douglas Biedler, Washington and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Biedler and his mother, Eileen Krueger.
The funeral service for Bruce will held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria. Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 A.M. Bruce will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Monday, April 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.
