Joseph Juarez, 39, of St. Paul, Minnesota went to Heaven on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Joe loved the Lord and prayed for everyone all of his life. His request was that he would like to visit Aunt Phyllis' church.
Joe was born on November 16, 1971 in St. Paul, MN. He lived his lifetime in St. Paul. He was born the third son to Joseph and Shirley Juarez. Joe leaves to celebrate his memory, Mother, Shirley of Milltown, WI, Children, Benjamin, Joe Jr., Dakota, Tianna, Amanda, granddaughter, Christina, brothers, Michael, David, Angel and many cousins, aunts and uncles who reside in the Round Lake area. Joe also is survived by all of his many friends. Joe loved to cook and worked as a cook. His favorite pastime was fishing which he dearly loved to do. Joe was preceded in death by his Father.
Joe loved living in the Cities and loved the city lights, noise and the closeness to restaurants, shopping and food markets. Joe liked going to McDonald's for fast food as his health was failing. He loved food and coffee, coffee being his favorite. His mother took him to Old Country Buffett, which he really enjoyed for the variety of foods.
Joe loved visiting his Aunt Phyllis' for her awesome fry-bread hot dogs. Joe loved her cooking and feast she put on for the holidays and summer cookouts. Joe also loved his music, especially Pink Floyd.
When Joe was diagnosed with Diabetes, his brother David took care of him as his health grew worse. Joe loved his independent life and lived in his own apartment as long as he could. He later entered the Gualthier Care Center as he needed more assistance. In late summer of 2009 he started dialysis and continued until a few short weeks ago, which then he decided he couldn't take being sick from the procedures and refused to go. Joe had decided he had done as much as he could bare and gave up dialysis.
We will miss a wonderful, happy Son, Father, Brother, Cousin, Nephew and Friend.
A graveside committal service will take place in the spring at the Balsam Lake Cemetery where Joe will be laid to rest. Prior to the service another notice will be posted in the local papers.
