Marc Alan Jensen

Marc Alan Jensen, 53 unexpectedly passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, as the result of a tragic car accident last month in Centuria.  He was born July 1, 1963 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin the son of Betty (Bowman) and Erling Jensen.

Marc graduated from Unity High School in 1981, then receiving his Associate Degree for Machine Tool & Die at New Richmond Vocational Technical College, graduating with Honors in 1983.  He began working for Anderson Windows in Bayport, Minnesota February 1983 and continued employment there until his accident.  He enjoyed working on antique cars, traveling (overseas many times), woodworking and mostly spending time with his nieces, nephews and family.  He was an all-around great man, liked by all who knew him. 

Marc is survived by his parents; Betty and Erling Jensen of Centuria, sister and brothers; Pamela (Tom) Hughes of Anthem, Arizona, Kerry (Ginger) Jensen of Osceola, Wisconsin and Rodney (Adela) Jensen of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Kyle & Jon Hughes, Alexis, Jacob, Madeline, Tia, Khloe Jensen, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins other relatives and many friends.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Stanley and Hazel Jensen, maternal grandparents; Albert and Adele Bowman and infant brother, Todd E. Jensen.

Funeral Services for Marc will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday December 11, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 216 Milltown Ave. North.  Family and friends may gather for a visitation at Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria Saturday 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. and again at church Sunday one hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place at New Home Cemetery in Eureka Township after the service.  Pallbearers will be Brian Jensen, Adam Schaus, Shawn Graves, Donovin Kostrom, Brian Bowman and Damien Kostron.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyle Hughes, Jon Hughes and Jacob Jensen.

Please join the family for continued fellowship and luncheon in the multi-purpose building next to the church after the burial.
