Welcome to the memorial page for

Lois A. Morales

February 7, 1934 ~ November 17, 2016 (age 82) 82 Years Old

Lois Audrey Morales fell asleep in death on Nov. 17th, 2016, after her usual late-night chat with her husband Joe and her favorite treat, ice cream.

Lois was born in St. Paul, MN to Maurice and Constance Larkin on Feb. 7th, 1934.  She was welcomed by sister, Beverly and brother, Clayton.  With the loving care of their mother, Constance, who was guided by Bible principles, the young family weathered many storms. Yet they were content and happy.

Lois graduated in 1952 from Humboldt High School.  She really enjoyed Latin music and dancing.

On Aug. 1st, 1953, Lois married her beloved Joseph Morales.  Together they raised 8 children.  Lois loved her family and like her mother, she loved Jehovah and taught her children about Him. Lois was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1959.

Lois was an excellent homemaker and made the best homemade bread, cookies and caramel rolls!  She loved her flowers, and grew amazing African violets. She enjoyed going out to eat, good-hard ice cream, old comedy shows, watching ice skating, dancing at receptions, a neat house and yard, and most of all a good laugh.

Unfortunately, Lois was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the late 1990's. Eventually she moved to United Pioneer Home for the remainder of her life.  There she enjoyed creating colorful artwork, tending plants and of course visitors.  Lois held fast to her faith in Jehovah. She regularly attended the Kingdom Hall when her health permitted, with much appreciated help from staff at UPH. We will all miss her tremendously.

Lois is survived by her husband, Joseph Morales, Children: Connie (Kirk) Sawall, Lee Morales, Joseph (Debbie) Morales, Daniel (Jackie) Morales, Sharon (Val) Riedman, Paul Morales, Eric Morales and Naomi Morales, sister, Beverly Criss and brother, Clayton (Sigrid) Larkin, 29 grandchildren,  28 Great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 26th at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.   There will be a light luncheon served after the Memorial Service at the Milltown Community Center.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
