JoAnne Darlene (Graf) Taylor

JoAnne Darlene Graf Taylor, 81, of Frederic, Wisconsin passed away peacefully in the early hours on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Joanne was born on January 2, 1935 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin the daughter of John Sr. and Esther Graf.

JoAnne graduated from Frederic High School in 1952.  She married Elmer Taylor on October 9, 1953. Together they raised 5 children.  JoAnne was a homemaker and worked at the Frederic Bakery for over 30 years.  She enjoyed walking, reading, and traveling with family and friends.

JoAnne leaves to celebrate her memory: children, Kevin (Maria) Taylor, Frederic, WI; Brad (Kristin) Taylor, Story City, IA; Terry (Jane) Taylor, Frederic, WI; Steven (Carol) Taylor, Elkhart, IN and Vickie (Tim) Erickson, Centuria, WI, grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle) Taylor, Dustin Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Brendan Taylor, Amberlyn Taylor, Austin Erickson, Billie Jo Erickson, Taylor Erickson, Holden Erickson and Kimberly (Fred) Robinson, great grandsons, Evan and Blake Taylor, sisters, Jorgine (Myron) Rogers and Janice Olson, sister-in-law, Kay Graf and many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Sr. and Esther Graf, her husband, Elmer Taylor, sister, Shirley Graf, brother, John Graf Jr. and her grandson Brandon Taylor.

The funeral service for Joanne will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Frederic, Wisconsin.  Pastor Paul Peterson will officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.

Joanne will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Frederic following the service.   Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ryan Taylor, Dustin Taylor, Austin Erickson, Zachary Taylor, Brendan Taylor and Holden Erickson.  Grandson Brandon Taylor will be recognized as the Honorary Pallbearer.

Family and friends are invited to join the family back at the church for lunch and fellowship following the cemetery service.
